Fly Casters

Fly fishing is a very big part of my life, and has been since I started fishing as a small child. Today, fly fishing is not just a hobby, but a way of life that I absolutely cannot do without.

I am a certified instructor in one handed fly casting (Casting Instructor) and two handed fly casting (Two-Handed Master Casting Instructor) in the international organization, Fly Fishers International, of which I am very proud to be a part.
Professionally I work as a nurse, and parallel I have my own company, Flyfishing by Laura Lykke Mathiasen, where I teach both one handed and two handed fly casting and offer guided fishing trips along the River Varde.

In addition, I work as an ambassador for Fairpoint Fly Fishing, which is a distributor of Sage and Rio Products as well as a manufacturer of Unique Flies. In addition, I am an ambassador for Geoff Anderson, who produces environmentally friendly clothing for anglers
