I live in Skjern, a few minutes’ drive from Skjern å, and for the past 17 years have worked at Denmark’s Center For Wild Salmon and since 2017 run Skjern River Guiding, which has made Skjern å a very central part of my life…
At the Danish Fly Festival, I want to tie some of my patterns to our Danish salmon, which stand out a little from the crowd. Then come by to talk about the thoughts behind the construction of patterns, how they are fished or something else entirely.
Fly fishing and fly tying have been a big part of my life for almost 25 years and I have gradually landed more than 80 species on my flies, around the world, so I am also open to a conversation about other species to that extent.
I will bring a small selection of the flies I tie for one of my upcoming trips to India, by species such as GT and Triggerfish…
