Fly Tyers

Kern started his fly fishing very young with grandpa in Vejle å, where we fished for trout as grandpa called the brook trout.

I was introduced to fly tying by grandpa, we always fished with wet flies. We also fished with flies in Vejle fjord as far back as 1970 where I got my first fly-caught sea trout.

Fly tying became a part of me and a passion I still suffer from, fly fishing the world’s best leisure activity.
